Terrible customer service! Gave a sandwich that was wrong and when I went back they didn't apologize they argued with me

Hands down, the best subs in Ormond Beach. I've been eating here for over a decade and the quality has been consistently above par. They have a very large selection of subs and many that you will not see elsewhere. One thing I would recommend is calling in your order if you're going for lunch as this place gets packed with local Seabreeze High School kids around 11:00am.

Every time I visit florida, I make plans to go to Larry's Subs. The staff is always friendly and the sandwich selection is outstanding, although I seem to always get the pizza subs. Every sandwich has been made quickly and correct. I have yet to try one of their breakfast subs, but that is next on my list.

Since Mr. Wich let me down more than once my quest to find "my" sandwich shop continues. I went to Larry's for lunch today. A lot of business that are in strip malls always suffer from portraying their image properly. The curse of being sandwiched together. I've passed by this place dozens of times and barely noticed. Once you enter, Larry's tries to bring that NY feel. It's cluttered with random pictures and a giant gorilla. It's pretty cool though. The menu is huge. I ordered a steak & cheese and was ecstatic to see that they carry Boylan old fashioned sodas. I don't normally drink soda but Boylan makes them the way sodas are meant to be. Sweetened with sugar cane vs. corn syrup. The sandwich was ok. Good enough for a 2nd trip. A bit pricey ($9.99 for sandwich, chips and drink). I liked this place. Surprised that it's actually a chain, but it works.

I hadn't had a Larry's Giant Sub in 16 years or more. I see this location when I would visit my mom but now that we moved down, I decided to go back and get an Ultimate. It was almost as good as I remember them being. My wife had the Krab Salad sub, my daughter had the cheeseburger sub, and my son had one of the Italian subs. Everyone very much enjoyed their subs. I was a little put off by the order taker / owner. He would ask me what I wanted on each sandwich and when I would reply he would call out his own list of toppings and I'd have to correct him. For example, the lady in front of me asked for a Ultimate with everything on it. He said mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion? She said everything, he said that's a lot of toppings, are you going to eat it all. She replied, yes, I want everything. So when I ordered I was very concise. On my sandwich I asked for mayo, lettuce, tomato. He replied back lettuce tomato onion. I said no onion, just mayo lettuce tomato. On my daughters "cheeseburger" sub, I ordered it plain, he said, you want just a plain hamburger/ I said no, I want a plain cheeseburger sub. It took a minute to register and he got it. It was very crowded and long line / wait so I understand the confusion. Anyway, it was good and I'll be back.

We beat the dinner crowd and got there about 4:30. We had great service. The gals were very attentive and made some great suggestions for us. Their clam chowder soup was very tasty. The toasted buns for our subs was a nice touch. Their meatball sub was a pretty standard sub, flavor and all. The crab salad sub was delicious....just how I like it! We brought home half of each of our subs. Given that, that price wasn't horrible.

Perhaps I am biased since I am from Jersey and we know how to make bfast sandwhiches but this place is terrible. They MICROWAVE the sausage, cheese, and EGG! Seriously? Cannot imagine what their standard is for the rest of their food. Gross.

This used to be the place to get a sandwich when you were on or going to the beach in Ormond. It feels that the quality has dropped a bit. Be ready for the middle and high school crowds on weekends and during the summer as this is still the spot for them.

I happen to be driving by on vacation, and saw this place..... did a quick look up on Yelp, and thought I would give it a try. Glad I did..... Friendly, patient staff.... wasn't quite sure what I wanted. Ended up getting the turkey club. and it was GOOD! Very tasty. I made the mistake of waiting about 15 minutes before I started to eat it. It got a little moist, but that was my fault. It was still VERY GOOD! Will have to stop and try some of the other items..... I think I will try the Cuban.

Giant Subs? Not a lot of good things I can say about this place. It's very obvious to me, that the only thing that keeps this place in business is that it is located directly across from the beach. There is nothing Giant about these subs. The sub my wife ordered was named 'The Italian Big One', the audacity!! So thin it could have been a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I had the meatball sub, which had barely any cheese. As far as taste, it was pretty average, just slightly better than subway. For the prices they charge, I expected something special. Instead all we got was ripped off. Also, the restaurant was a mess, and the staff was a little rude. My family will certainly never return.

This place is a real NY deli. Good was great! Staff were welcoming and friendly. Good value for the food, nothing too fancy but really good. Perfect for lunch. The menu can be overwhelming, but that is because they literally offer everything! Give it a try ;)

Went there on a hunch the smell drew me in from the parking lot. The selection of hot and cold subs is huge. The classics from a ny deli are all there. I ordered a meatball sandwich and I wasn't disappointed the bread was fresh and warm and the meats were fresh and cut to order. Very nice

Wanted to try a new place while on vacation here in Daytona! I couldn't have picked a better place! I ordered the Pizza Sub and the Steak n Cheese and a side order of potato salad, and macaroni salad! A new girl was working the register and we ended up with two orders of potato salad but it was still great because the potato salad was amazing! The pizza sub was perfection and the steak n cheese was great! I will definitely be back whenever I get the chance! Great decor, great service, and great food! Simply amazing Subs!

Really, really good turkey sub. Wish they were up in Atlanta. Or maybe that's a good thing because I would probably eat here wayyy to often. This place is smallish so it gets packed quickly but it's so worth it!

The reason I gave them a one star rating wasn't due to the food taste. It was due to the terrible service. I was a walk-in order with two small orders (2 and 3 sandwiches). First, each ordered had Reuben sandwiches. It wasn't until both orders were placed and being made that they discovered they didn't have any sauerkraut. You should always know your inventory. They offered to substitute with pickles. For a Reuben...really?!? Then they even forgot the pickles - even on the side. I ordered a Bomber as seen on the online menu. I ended up with a sliced chicken sub - no sautéd onions or mushrooms. The Only sub they got right was a meatball sub. Buyer beware. The place is also very dirty looking. I wonder if it would pass a health inspection.
